Surgery visits are strictly by appointment only.

We will do our best to see you at your appointed time. However, please be patient if there is a delay as sometimes certain appointments may take longer than planned or emergencies can happen.

Appointments cannot be booked on our website or by email.

24 Hours’ notice must be given to cancel an appointment.

If you need to cancel an appointment in an emergency please phone the surgery as soon as possible so we can offer that appointment to someone else.

If you forget to attend an appointment or do not show, remember you are depriving another sick person from availing of that appointment.

  • Drop prescription request into designated post box outside surgery.

Repeat prescription requests must be received received in writing to ensure the correct medication is prescribed for you.

IMPORTANT: Please allow five working days for all routine prescriptions to be processed and sent to your pharmacy. This allows the doctor time to review your prescription.

Hospital Prescriptions which need to be transferred to Medical Card Prescription will be processed on the same day.

Regular check-ups are required for all patients taking medications. The doctor will advise you if a check-up or blood tests are needed. Most people will need to be reviewed every 6 months by either the doctor or nurse.

It is practice policy that all accounts must be settled at the time of consultation.

Payment can be made by

  • Pay Bill on Website

Receipts are issued at the time of payment in surgery or when paying through our website. Please retain these receipts for your records, as we cannot re-issue receipts.

The doctor or nurse will contact you with your blood test results.

Most results will be back in the surgery in 1-2 weeks.

If after two weeks you have not received contact from the surgery please phone and let us know.

If the hospital asks you to have blood tests taken, we are happy to facilitate this.

However, it is your responsibility to collect the results and send them to the hospital department or consultant as necessary.

Cervical smear results take approximately 3 weeks to come back.

The doctor or nurse will contact you by text message or phone call as soon as your results are available.

You will also receive a letter from cervical check confirming your results.
