Under 8s GP Visit Card Children are eligible for a GP Visit Card up to their 8th birthday. A parent (or guardian) can register a child for the Under 8s GP Visit Card scheme online, at hse.ie/GPVisitCards. You must have a valid GP Visit Card at the time of your child’s appointment.

1. Phone the surgery to make an appointment with our Nurse for a full sexual health examination and screen. Cost €70 (prepayment required when booking). Open to both patients and non-patients of Rathangan Medical Centre. or 2.  Patients with a Doctor Visit Card or Medical Card the screen is free of charge  Private Patients the screen is €50 Screen includes the following with the Nurse;  Blood pressure check  Height  BMI  Bloods, which include Cholesterol check, Diabetes Screen, Kidney Function, Liver Function and Thyroid check.
